The Moubarak regime wanted to use a victory of Egypt in the process Of grooming Gamal Moubarak to inherit his daddy. Now that they lost they have to play victims. There have been some hooliganism from both sides in Sudan, this is normal in Derby matches. among 10 000 Egyptian supporters 21 were slightly injured. The regime is trying to make that look like a war instigated against Egypt so that everybody rallies behind the flag and hence behind Moubarak and his thieves. Since Sadat Egypt became a petty country with many petty minded people that are brainwashed and supportive of the regime. They cannot deal with the fact that the glory of the Arabs lays elsewhere nowadays, namely where people still resist and still have pride. They can’t show anything as progress as poverty, corruption analphabetism and reactionary thinking are paramount, so they resort to football. And when the lose there too. they resort to self-lamentation and victimization. Pathetic regime.
